Are cards at the top the freshest? I remember reading someone saying you should avoid cards that have been sitting for a while also how fresh should card be, 1 week or 1 day etc?

While buying cards it doesn't matter how long it has stayed in the shop. The most important thing to consider while buying cc is bins. Search for your favorite bins from shop to shop or from you private plug (recommended).
