Carding with throwaway Laptop?

As the title states, would that be possible, to just buy one from craigslist or some other local app and throw it away after carding? You login into a public wifi, so do you still need some sort of protection or anything?

yes possible. Would still change mac address and use cc cleaner or bleachbit. Also still use socks if you are not close to CH. Never connect bthe device to your own wifi.
