So I was think about this for a bit. Couldn't you easily just buy giftcards ( both digital and physical) online with paypal or a self-made debit cards then proceed to do a chargeback after you cash-out the giftcard? Thinking I am missing something here. Maybe chargebacks don't go that well for digital giftcards? Like what excuse are you gonna use for paypal or whoever your card issuer is? I figure I could say it was a fraudulent charge/ card was stolen. Maybe the reason doesn't really matter under a certain amount the site you bought the card from will just close your account and blacklist you. Any insights on this?
