Probably isnt super feasible to repeat but accidentally SE'd JB-Hifi.
Wanted to buy X phone that is on sale, attended JB confirmed they have 1 in stock for $750, purchased an online giftcard with a %5 cashback so i paid i think $700 for the gift card.
Got to the counter lady then explained they had no stock.
I spoke with the manager explained that the only reason i bought the gift card was due to the misleading quote provided (Google ACCC Rules, normally they break at least 2-3 at once) after explaining they are using Bait and switch sales tactics because there isnt enough stock to cover the sale period along with providing misleading quotes("Yes we have that in stock for $750, actually no lol we dont now")
She finally caved and returned the whole $750 to my debit card, ending in an accidental $50 profit.
Dont know if anyone can repeat this but the noobs on here seem to love eating OC for free.
