Shill.
Definitions:
1. A hustler or con-person who tries to convince other people to buy something or think something is great (shilling).
2. A person who poses as a customer in order to decoy others into participating, for e.g. at a gambling house, auction, etc.
3. A person who publicizes or praises something or someone for reasons of self-interest, personal profit, friendship, loyalty, etc.
The shill himself has ulterior motives behind their actions / words, usually because they are the actual seller or they themselves have something to gain from you.
Examples:
- Got $1234 in giftcards, how do I cash out?
- I carded this crypto site, but didn't cash out in time and they froze my funds, help
- This method worked from this vendor, cashed out but his CCs are expensive. Where to buy CCs from?
- My CC BIN works at this site very good, what are some other good cardable sites
- and etc.
Read between the lines. Do you notice it?
Posts like these are very problematic, why?
Because the post / text inside of the post at first glance looks innocent and on top of that, there is no real way of determining whether or not the poster's claims are true, until you do business with them.
I have noticed the rise of posts like these and decided to spread awareness so I can warn those who may not recognize such scam attempts.
Always be skeptical, especially towards new accounts, use common sense and use escrow whenever possible.
You've been warned.
