There's checkers that tell you if it's vbv or not. 3dsecure disabled? 2d? 2d sites are still very popular. You can use a vbv on a 2d site. If the gateway is actually 2d, it won't ask for otp.

I don't gatekeep much, but nonvbv bins are one of the things that should be gatekept.
